Here are three delicious recipes to enjoy oysters. There are many ways to dress up oysters, and not only on the half shell with some fresh lemon juice.

Oysters Kilpatrick Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups rock salt

24 oysters, shucked

6 tbspns Oyster Kilpatrick Sauce

175g thin rashers rindless bacon, diced

2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped

lemon wedges, to serve

How to create:

  1. Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Place rock salt, in a thick layer, on a baking tray or heatproof plate. Arrange oysters (in their half-shells) on rock salt.
  2. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce over oysters. Top with bacon. Grill, on the salt, for 5 to 8 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with lemon.

Oyster Mornay Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups rock salt

24 oysters, shucked

450g Cheesy Mornay Sauce

How to create:

  1. Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Place rock salt, in a thick layer, on a baking tray or heatproof plate. Arrange oysters (in their half-shells) on rock salt.
  2. Spoon Cheesy Mornay Sauce over oysters to cover. Grill, on the salt, for 5 to 8 minutes or until brown & bubbling.

Oysters with Black Garlic Pearls

Ingredients:

2 cups rock salt

24 oysters, shucked

1 jar Black Garlic Pearls

How to create:

  1. Place rock salt, in a thick layer, on a serving tray or plate. Arrange oysters (in their half-shells) on rock salt.
  2. Spoon Black Garlic Pearls over oysters. Serve
