Ingredients you need:

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon truffle salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (optional for extra flavour)

How to Create:

  1. Gently heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the olive oil, allow to warm and then add the popcorn kernels. Place a lid on the saucepan and shake it gently to coat the kernels with the oil.
  2. When the corn kernels begin to pop, continue to shake the saucepan gently to prevent the popcorn from catching and burning.
  3. When the popping slows to about one pop per second, remove the saucepan from the heat.
  4. Transfer the popcorn to a serving bowl, season with the truffle salt and toss until the popcorn is evenly coated.
  5. For that extra bit of flavour, melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave, drizzle it over the popcorn and toss.
  6. Serve the popcorn warm, with extra truffle salt to taste. Watch how fast it goes! Just delicious popcorn at home. Anytime will be popcorn time.
