  1. Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until pale and frothy, then gradually beat in the cocoa chai and baking powder. Beat for a further 2 minutes
  2. With mixer running, add eggs, one at a time, mixing well in between
  3. By hand, stir in the flour followed by the white chocolate and the chocolate buttons
  4. Cover the bowl and chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes
  5. Pre heat the oven to 190C (180C fan forced)
  6. Divide the dough into two and roll each into a 20cm long log. Place logs onto a lined baking tray approx 10cm apart, then flatten them slightly
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes. They are ready when a skewer comes away clean
  8. Rest for 5 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool for at least 1 hour
  9. Cut each log into slices 12cm thick, on the diagonal. Place the slices onto a lined baking tray and bake at 165C for 8-9 minutes. Turn the slices and bake for a further 7-9 minutes
  10. Cool completely before placing in an airtight tin for storage
